photext does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Specifically:

- We do not require account registration

- We do not collect your name, email, or any identifying information

- We do not track your location

- We do not serve advertisements

How Images Are Processed

When you use the table extraction feature, photos are temporarily sent to enterprise-grade AI services with strict data protection standards, solely for the purpose of text and table recognition. These images are:

- Transmitted securely over HTTPS

- Processed and immediately discarded

- Never used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties

Data Stored on Your Device

photext stores the following data locally on your device only:

- Recent scan history (text and image thumbnails)

- App preferences and display settings

This data never leaves your device and is permanently removed when you uninstall the app.

Camera and Photo Library Access

photext requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to scan documents and images for text extraction. This is the core functionality of the app.

Children's Privacy

photext is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
